Geriatric Grand Rounds
Overview
The Geriatric Grand Rounds series is
designed for physicians, housestaff,
medical students, and other professionals.
UMDNJ-SOM faculty and other leaders
in the field of aging are featured lecturers
each month. The Grand Rounds are presented
through a collaboration between the
New Jersey Institute for Successful
Aging and the Department of Medicine.
Objectives include:
- Utilize the principles of evidence-based
practice
- Develop collaborative, interdisciplinary
team building to enhance understanding
across disciplines and promote quality
care for older adults across the continuum
- Outline the most up-to-date educational,
scientific, and clinical technologies
to maintain currency in geriatric
practice
