Multidisciplinary TEAM Meetings
Overview
In
accordance with the New Jersey Institute
for Successful Aging's vision of multidisciplinary
clinical care, research, and education,
TEAM meetings are held several times
a month. These meetings allow faculty,
housestaff, fellows, students, and health
care professionals of multiple disciplines
to learn the most up-to-date information
on a variety of geriatric and gerontological
issues.TEAM meetings can be in the format
of lectures, case presentations, or
journal club. Presenters include academic
faculty, fellows, community-based health
care and social service providers, ethicists,
lawyers, psychologists, nutritionists,
physical therapists and other individuals
involved in caring for the elderly.
All health professionals, those who
care for the elderly, and students in
health-related tracks are welcome to
attend.
