Study
Maureen Wilson-Genderson
is an experimental psychologist
with a background in the
study of aging adults, health
services research and statistical
methods. Areas of statistical
expertise include structural
equation modeling and multilevel
models with longitudinal
data. She has worked for
a variety of research projects
including a longitudinal
study of adults who were
victims of childhood abuse,
QOL assessment in children
with healthcare needs (parent-child
dyads), and maintenance
of enrollment in publicly
funded healthcare for underprivileged
children. Additionally,
Dr. Wilson-Genderson has
conducted secondary data
analyses on several large
longitudinal datasets including
the Medical Expenditure
Panel Survey (MEPS) , National
Medical Expenditure Survey
(NMES) , and the Veteran's
Administrations Normative
Aging Study (NAS).
Dr. Wilson-Genderson holds
a BS in Psychology from
Virginia Commonwealth University,
an MS in Social Psychology
from the University of Louisville,
and an MA/PhD in Developmental
Psychology from Boston College.
She completed an NIMH post-doctoral
training fellowship in statistics
at New York University.
She has published in peer-reviewed
journals.
