New Jersey Institute for Successful Aging

As a center of excellence in geriatrics and in keeping with its mission to improve care to the elderly and enrich educational experiences for health professionals of multiple disciplines, the research component of the New Jersey Institute for Successful Aging has been significantly expanded. Our research faculty, fellows and staff are engaged in a variety of behavioral, clinical, and basic science research projects.

To advance research in aging, the Institute also participates in a number of clinical drug trials which provide an opportunity to evaluate new medications and their effects in the elderly. It also enables us to provide our patients with the latest information on new advances in medications for treatment of Alzheimer's disease, depression and other problems common in older individuals.
